To extrude an element and connect it with a shape

  1. Select the Extrude Element to Shape(s) tool.
  2. Set Top to Connect Element.
  3. Identify the shape whose edge defines the extrusion limit.
  4. Identify the element to extrude. The form extrudes and is highlighted.
  5. Accept with a data point.
